  1. What happens if I don’t accept a challenge invite?

If you receive a challenge invite, the entry fee is only deducted from your account if you accept the challenge.

  2. How can I activate or disable challenge requests?

You can activate or disable challenge requests on the Challenge page, which can be found under My GameDuell.

  3. Who can I challenge/who can challenge me?

You can challenge your friends, recent opponents or other players. These players, in return, can challenge you. In accordance with our Fairness Guarantee, restrictions apply based on a player’s skill level. Before accepting a challenge request, you can check your opponent’s game statistics and decide whether you wish to accept the challenge.

  4. Can I challenge more than one player to a duel?

It is currently only possible to challenge one other player to a duel.

  5. What happens if the player I challenged does not accept my invite?

If you challenge a player, the entry fee is deducted automatically from your player account. If your opponent doesn’t respond to your invite, you receive a refund after 24 hours. If they reject the challenge earlier, you receive an automatic refund as soon as they reject the invite.

  6. Why can I only request revenge from a player I already lost against?

We want to encourage competition on GameDuell. We do take our fairness policy seriously. For these reasons, you can only send a revenge request to a player who has beaten you in an earlier duel.

  7. How do I block a particular user from sending me challenge invites?

To block a particular user from sending you challenge invites, click on "My GameDuell" and then on "My challenges". At the bottom of the page click on "Block a player". You can then enter the username of the player you want to block and click on "Block player". Please note that blocking a player not only means that that player can not send you challenge invites but also that they are no longer able to invite you to private mini-leagues or send you private messages.
