FreeCell

Play FreeCell Online

FreeCell is a form of Solitaire, in which all 52 cards are distributed among eight columns at the beginning of the game. The object of the game is to clear each column to create four foundations at the top of the board. Players must place cards in the correct order, from Ace to King, when forming the foundation piles. The player has to shift cards in the eight columns by choosing strategically color and numbers that each card fits onto the other. For example, a black 9 can be placed on a red 10, but not a black 10. Playing FreeCell online free is the same as playing with a deck of cards at home.

Rules to Play FreeCell Online

There are four free cells that are available to move cards. First, before placing a card on the free cell, it is important to know how it is going to be removed from the space. Entire rows of cards are allowed to be moved as long as the alternating pattern is completed.

If a column is clear, a player is allowed to place any card they wish on the empty space. Moving cards is simply done by clicking on the card you wish to move and dragging it into place. There are many strategies involved when playing this form of Solitaire.

One of the biggest mistakes players make is blocking all of their free cells too quickly. The player always has to have an idea of how to remove cards that are placed on one of the spots. Clearing columns as quickly as possible will allow the player to have another space to use as a placeholder. Moving the lower cards to the foundations as quickly as possible will give more room to play.
